I work with executives, high-responsibility professionals, and fire families. Many of the people I see are the ones everyone else counts on… steady, capable, always managing one more thing. If you've never had a space to set that down, that's what this practice is for.

EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a structured, research-backed approach that helps your brain and nervous system reprocess difficult experiences. You don't have to narrate every detail for it to work. It meets you where the memory lives, in the body and the nervous system, not just in words.
-
Somatic Experiencing is a body-based approach to healing stress and trauma. It pays attention to what your body is holding onto, tension, bracing, exhaustion, even when your mind has already moved on. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I use this alongside EMDR so the healing isn't only intellectual. It's felt.

Yes. I see clients online across Texas, and in person in the Mansfield, Midlothian, and Aledo area. Many clients find virtual sessions easier to fit into full schedules, and this work translates well to a private video format.
-
I don't accept insurance. My practice is private pay.
This is intentional. Without an insurance company involved, you don't need a mental health diagnosis to get care, and no outside party is deciding what your treatment should look like or how long it should last.
That means more privacy, and more control over your own care. We shape the work around what you actually need, not what a claim requires.
-
We start slow. No expectation that you'll explain everything perfectly or have it all figured out. We'll talk through what brought you in, what you're hoping shifts, and what pace feels right. You're allowed to just show up as you are.
-
Often it's both. Many clients come in not because something has fallen apart, but because they're tired of holding it all up alone. If you're functioning well on the outside and feel worn down or disconnected on the inside, that's worth paying attention to. You don't need a crisis to justify support.
-
Yes. Sessions are confidential, protected by law and professional ethics. This matters especially if you're in a leadership role or a close community where privacy can feel harder to come by.
-
There's no set timeline. Some people come for a focused season around one thing. Others stay longer as new layers surface. We'll check in on progress and pace along the way, so you always know why we're doing what we're doing.
-
Reach out for a private consultation. It's a low-pressure way to ask questions and see if we're a good fit before committing to anything.
