Ways We Work Together

The Confidential offers discreet, individualized support for individuals who value thoughtful, private care.

Therapy here isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong.”

It’s about understanding what’s been carried, what’s been adapted, and what hasn’t yet had the opportunity to resolve…
so you can move toward a way of living that feels more steady, more connected, and more like a life well lived.

Private Therapy for Individuals

Individual sessions provide a consistent space to explore the relationship between stress, trauma, and the nervous system. This work blends relational therapy with Somatic Experiencing and EMDR approaches to support deeper regulation, emotional clarity, and long-term resilience.

Many clients are high-performing professionals or members of fire families who benefit from a place where they no longer have to hold everything together.

Our work creates space for you to feel more at ease in your own life… not just getting through your days, but actually experiencing them.

Private EMDR Intensive

Some people come to therapy knowing there’s more beneath the surface.

They’re functioning…
Showing up for work, family, responsibilities…
But something still feels unresolved, or heavier than it should.

EMDR intensives are designed for that place.

They offer focused, extended time to work through experiences that haven’t fully settled… without the stop-and-start rhythm of weekly sessions.

Why intensives can be so effective

Traditional therapy sessions have a natural limit.

You begin to open something… and then time is up.
You regulate, leave, and return a week later to find your way back in.

Intensives create a different kind of container.

They allow us to:

  • Stay with the work long enough for real processing to happen

  • Move through multiple layers of an experience, not just the surface

  • Reduce the “reset” that often happens between weekly sessions

  • Support your nervous system in completing what it started

For clients with a history of trauma, this continuity matters.

It’s often what allows things to finally shift… rather than just being managed.

What this work can help with

EMDR intensives are especially helpful when experiences feel “stuck” or unresolved, including:

  • Trauma that still feels present in your body or reactions

  • Patterns in relationships that don’t seem to change

  • High-functioning anxiety or internal pressure that doesn’t let up

  • Persistent shame, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm

  • Significant life events that were never fully processed

This isn’t about revisiting everything all at once.

It’s about working with care, pacing, and precision… so your system can process what it’s been holding.

Who intensives are best suited for

This format tends to work well for people who:

  • Are ready for deeper, more focused work

  • Prefer a time-efficient approach due to full schedules or high-responsibility roles

  • Have done some therapy before and want to go further

  • Feel tired of coping and want to resolve what’s underneath

  • Value a private, contained space to do meaningful work

You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from an intensive.

Often, it’s the people who are “doing well on the outside” who gain the most from having the time and space to go deeper.

A different pace, with the same care

Even though intensives are longer sessions, the work is not rushed.

We move at a pace your nervous system can tolerate…
With attention to grounding, integration, and what feels manageable for you.

The goal is not to push.

It’s to create enough space for your system to finally process what it hasn’t had the chance to.

Considering an intensive

If you’re wondering whether this approach might fit your needs, we can talk through it together.

A brief consultation can help clarify what you’re carrying…
And whether an EMDR intensive feels like the right next step.

Good Faith Estimate

Starting therapy often comes with practical questions, including cost. I want this part to feel clear and straightforward.

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate if you are paying privately (not using insurance). This is simply an overview of what your care may cost, based on what we understand at the beginning of our work together.

Because therapy is personal and unfolds at its own pace, the total investment can vary. Some clients come for a focused period around a specific concern, while others choose longer-term support. We will talk through what feels appropriate for you, and you can request an updated estimate at any time.

The estimate is meant to support transparency, not to lock you into a certain number of sessions.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge.

If you have questions about fees or would like an estimate before getting started, you’re always welcome to reach out.
