Ways We Work Together

Therapy here isn't about fixing what's wrong.

It's about understanding what's been carried, what's been adapted, and what hasn't yet had the opportunity to resolve… so you can move toward a way of living that feels more steady, more connected, and more like a life well lived.

Private Therapy for Individuals

Individual therapy at The Confidential provides a consistent, private space to explore the relationship between stress, trauma, and the nervous system.

Sessions blend relational therapy with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and somatic experiencing to support deeper regulation, emotional clarity, and long-term change.

Many clients are executives, professionals, or members of first responder families who benefit from a space where they no longer have to hold everything together.

Private EMDR Intensive

Some people come to therapy knowing there's more beneath the surface.

They're functioning. Showing up for work, family, and responsibilities. But something still feels unresolved, or heavier than it should.

EMDR intensives are designed for that place.

They offer focused, extended time to work through experiences that haven't fully settled… without the stop-and-start rhythm of weekly sessions.

Why intensives work differently

Traditional therapy sessions have a natural limit. You begin to open something, and then time is up. You regulate, leave, and return a week later to find your way back in.

Intensives create a different kind of container. They allow the work to go deeper, move through multiple layers, and give your nervous system the continuity it needs to actually process what it's been holding.

What EMDR intensives can help with:

  • Trauma that still feels present in the body or reactions

  • Patterns in relationships that don't seem to change

  • High-functioning anxiety or internal pressure that doesn't let up

  • Persistent shame, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm

  • Significant life events that were never fully processed

Who intensives are best suited for:

  • People ready for deeper, more focused work

  • Professionals with full schedules who prefer a time-efficient format

  • Those who have done therapy before and want to go further

  • Anyone tired of coping and ready to resolve what's underneath

Even in an intensive format, the work is not rushed. We move at a pace your nervous system can tolerate, with attention to grounding, integration, and what feels manageable for you.

1 Day EMDR Intensive: $750

Includes: Pre-intensive preparation session, 3-hour intensive session, post-intensive debrief.
Follow-up individual sessions available (not included)
